
Trout fillets with garlic flower oil

- 2 rainbow trout fillets from Ferme piscicole des Bobines with the skin on
- 2 tbsp garlic flower oil
- 1tsp salted butter
- Salt, pepper, garlic scape powder (optional)
Preparation
- Melt butter with garlic flower oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the skinless side of the trout fillets with salt and pepper.
- Cook the fillets on the skinless side in the oil/butter for about 3–5 min. depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Turn the trout fillets over, sprinkle garlic scape powder on the skinless side, and cook for another 3–5 min. until the desired doneness.
You can use any other type of fish fillets as well. Garlic flower oil goes wonderfully with all kinds of fish! Adjust the cooking time according to the thickness of the fillets, so that you don’t overcook the fish.
Serve with a salad and some rice for a quick and delicious supper!
