
Black garlic brownies

Ingredients
- 4 organic black garlic cloves, peeled
- 2 tbsp of boiling water
- 3 large eggs, at room temperature
- ¾ cup of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- ¾ cup of softened unsalted butter
- ⅔ cup of cocoa powder
- ½. tsp of salt
- ½ cup of all-purposed flour
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Finely chop the black garlic and put it in the bowl of a mortar. Add boiling water and crush the garlic with the pestle until it becomes a liquid puree. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the cocoa powder, salt, and flour. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the eggs for a few minutes until they become foamy. Incorporate the brown sugar. Add the vanilla extract and butter.
- Using a wooden spoon, mix in the dry ingredients and black garlic puree until the mixture is smooth.
- Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and pour the mixture into it.
- Bake in the oven for 22 minutes.
